You can move money out of your investments to spend from your HSA at any time. This process follows standard market and banking timelines.
How withdrawals work
Benepass places the sell order right away when you request a withdrawal
Orders are processed during normal market hours and settle according to standard timelines
After settlement, funds move by ACH transfer into your HSA spending account
Timing
Most withdrawals are available within 2–3 business days. Timing can vary depending on when the request is submitted and whether a bank holiday falls during that period.
This timeline is consistent across the investment industry.
