Benepass works with employers to create customized benefits programs. Instead of providing a fixed list of items, each benefit allows spending within approved categories, giving you flexibility to choose what works best for you.
How to find out what's eligible
If you are curious to know what is eligible under your benefits, you can check your specific policy from within our app and website.
To see what you can purchase with a specific benefit, start by navigating to the Accounts page and selecting the benefit you’d like to review.
Under "What can I buy?", you’ll find two helpful ways to explore eligibility:
Merchant guidelines: View which merchants are allowed or disallowed for that benefit. If a merchant is listed as disallowed, purchases from that merchant are not eligible for reimbursement or payment under that benefit.
Eligible categories: Browse purchase categories that are covered by the benefit.
When you select Browse eligible categories, you can expand each category using the down arrow to see examples of eligible items and purchase ideas. These examples are meant to help guide you, but eligibility ultimately depends on the specific rules of the benefit.
