When will my funds expire?

Benefit expiration schedules are unique to each individual benefit in your Benepass account.

Steps

To learn how long your funds are available:

  1. Log in to your account from the website or app

  2. Navigate to the Accounts page

  3. Click into the benefit you wish to view more details about

  4. Under your current balance, you'll be able to see what date your benefit is available until, as well as any upcoming scheduled contributions

Not all merchants charge your card at the time of purchase, so it's best to spend your balance in advance to ensure the funds have been spent before any scheduled expirations.

If you choose not to use your funds before their scheduled expiration, any remaining balances will expire and cannot be returned to your account.

Card expiration vs. benefit expiration

The expiration date shown on your card (formatted as MM/YY) does not reflect your benefit’s expiration date.

To view upcoming or scheduled benefit expirations, go to AccountsBenefitCurrent balance, where you can review your benefits scheduled expiration(s) and balance.
