How to order a physical card

Benepass users located in the United States are able to request a physical card at any time.

What to know

Due to card issuer rules, at this time Benepass is only able to issue physical cards to users located in the United States.

You do not need a physical card to use your Benepass benefits. All users will be issued virtual cards that can be used globally for online purchases or contactless payments using a mobile wallet. 

Steps

  1. Navigate to the Cards page
  2. Select "Order physical card," you may need to scroll past other cards to see this option
  3. Enter your US shipping address
  4. Confirm "Mail physical card"

What to expect

Your card will arrive within 2 weeks. Once it arrives, it must be activated before use.

Common questions

How can I order a physical HSA card?

Navigate to your HSA workspace by using the workspace switcher in the top left corner of the app or website, or by navigating to your Accounts page and clicking to view your HSA.

Then, follow the same steps above to request a physical HSA card.

How many physical cards can I order?

Each cardholder can hold up to two (2) physical Benepass cards, or three (3) physical Flex or HSA cards each.

Can I order a physical card for a spouse or dependent to use?

You can order additional cards for a spouse or qualifying dependents following the same process.

All cards will be issued in the cardholders name, but family members may use the card to make eligible purchases.

Can I order a physical card if I'm not located in the United States?

No, Benepass is only able to issue physical cards to users within the United States. 

Instead, you'll be issued a virtual card that can be used globally for online purchases or contactless payments using a mobile wallet.
