Ordering a physical HSA card is easy! It follows the same instructions as requesting a regular card.
Do I need an HSA Card?
Yes! To make purchases from your HSA, you will need to utilize the purple HSA-specific Visa. The white Benepass Visa is only intended to be used for perk programs or specific employer-supported pre-tax accounts (like FSAs and Commuter benefits).
How to order a physical HSA card:
- Log in to your account from our website or mobile app.
- Navigate to the Cards tab, then scroll down or browse and click "Order physical card"
- Choose which type of card you'd like to order, if applicable
- Enter the address where the card should be shipped
The card should be delivered within 1-2 weeks!
Note: You will need to activate it once it arrives since these are shipped out in an inactive state for security reasons -- note that you will not be able to activate it until you actually have it in our possession. Instructions can be found here: How to Activate HSA Cards
Don't see an "order physical card" option?
If you already have more than one active physical Benepass HSA card, you'll need to contact Benepass Support directly to request another. Please note that while you're able to request an additional card for a family member, the cardholder's name will always be the account holder.
