What to do when you receive a new card

When receiving a new card, there are a few simple steps to keep in mind to ensure a smooth transition and uninterrupted access to your benefits.

Review Your New Card Details

Take a moment to familiarize yourself with your new card information. From the Cards page in the app or website, take a moment to review your new:

  • Card number
  • Expiration date and CVV
  • Billing address

Ensure all details are correct and match your account information.

Activate Your Physical Card

If you've received a new physical card, you'll need to activate it before first use.

  • Navigate to the Cards page from the app or website
  • Find your card by matching the last 4 numbers, then click or tap to activate.
    • You may be asked to enter card details such as the expiration date to confirm.

Your card is ready for use immediately after activation.

Update Vendor Information

To avoid any disruption in automatic payments or subscriptions:

  • Identify all vendors or services that have your card on file
  • Update your payment information with each vendor, providing your new card details
  • Double-check that all recurring payments are updated to ensure continuity of service

Discard Old Physical Cards Safely

Once your new card is activated, you can safely discard your previous card(s).

  • Locate all previously held cards associated with your account
  • Important: Verify the last 4 digits to ensure you discard the correct card
  • Cut up old cards or use a shredder designed for plastic cards

By following these steps, you'll ensure a seamless transition to your new card.
