Adding one-time contributions via the Admin Dashboard

As a Benepass administrator, you have the ability to add one-time contributions to an employee's perk benefits directly from the Admin Dashboard. 

What to know

Eligible Benefits

This feature is not available for pre-tax benefits, such as FSAs, HSAs, or Parking or Transit benefits. Additionally, funds cannot be added to inactive benefit enrollments, or any benefits that have been configured to not allow manual contributions.

Bulk contributions

If you would like to process a bulk quantity of one-time contributions to benefits, you can do so via the Uploads page by adding a file of Ad hoc contributions. This will allow you to manually upload a list of employees and their intended contribution amounts, and process them in bulk automatically. Processing times and email notifications

Contributions may take up to 5 minutes to process. If you choose to include a message, employees will receive an email notifying them of the new funds, along with your entered message. If you choose to skip a message, employees will not receive an email notification.

How to add a one-time contribution

  1. Navigate to the Roster and search for the employee
  2. Click their Enrollments tab, find the benefit you'd like to add funds to, then click the three-dot menu and select '+ Add funds'
  3. Fill out the form, and confirm
