Balance transfer report template

Overview

To add unique amounts of funds to individual employee balances, Benepass needs to receive data in a specific format. This formatting helps ensure that the correct employee receives the correct amount in the correct benefit.

Pre-tax balance transfers

For pretax balance transfers, your previous custodian should be able to prepare this report for your team. Please request that the report be delivered from them at the effective end date of your plan year and share it with Benepass.

If your previous provider is not able to adhere to Benepass' formatting, we ask that your team adjusts the spreadsheet columns to reflect the formatting requirements.

What to expect

To process your request, Benepass will need to receive:

  • Employee identifying information (e.g. name, email, employee ID)

  • Specification of which benefit to add funds to

  • Amount to transfer
