What is employee experience impersonation?
As an administrator, you can view an employee’s app experience through employee experience impersonation.
This feature allows you to see what the employee sees, including their account detail page, transactions table (filtered by benefit), and individual transaction details.
During impersonation:
You’ll have read-only access, meaning you cannot make changes on the employee’s behalf.
Sensitive merchant data may be hidden for privacy.
Declined transactions and HSA workspaces are not visible through impersonation.
How to access employee experience impersonation
From the Admin Dashboard, go to Roster.
Search for the employee and click into their Employee Details.
Open the Enrollments tab.
Click the three-dot menu next to the benefit you want to view, then select 'View employee experience'.
Note: Clicking directly on the table line will take you to Benefits > Enrollments instead.
What you can view during impersonation
Once you enter the employee experience impersonation, you can:
Explore any part of the account detail page to see what the employee sees.
Click View all to open the transactions table for that benefit.
Select a transaction to open its detail page.
Notes:
HSA workspaces cannot be accessed through impersonation.
For HRA, FSA, and LPFSA benefits, merchant names will appear
(undisclosed)to protect employee privacy.
How to exit impersonation
To exit the employee experience impersonation, you can do so any time from the 'End impersonation' option in the upper right-hand corner:
