Report Guide: HSA enrollment completion

What is the HSA enrollment completion report?

This report shows the current application status for employees enrolled in a Health Savings Account. This report helps to identify employees who have not yet completed the application process, and therefore have not yet had their Health Savings Accounts fully opened.

What to know

Once an employee has elected into a Health Savings Account and been enrolled through Benepass, they'll need to complete an application to open an account with our banking partner.

Each status on the report indicates where an employee is in the HSA enrollment process:

  • Complete- The employee has an HSA account customer ID, and their account is fully set up.

  • Pending Review- The HSA application has been submitted and is awaiting custodial review.

  • Awaiting Documents- The application awaits the required documents from the employee.

  • Incomplete – The employee has not yet submitted an HSA application.

Employees with a status of Incomplete or Awaiting Documents receive regular email reminders prompting them to complete their enrollment application and informing them of what additional documents are required, if applicable.

How to navigate the HSA enrollment completion report

As this report only provides the most recent status for an employee, filtering by date or other attributes is not available.

This report can be exported to a .csv file.
